Belfast Beyond popped into Apache’s new shop just before Christmas, for their official launch party. Apache has been around since 1988 in various spots around the city and can now be found at 108 North Street in the city centre. The shop has always been an advocate for Belfast’s underground culture, and their new shop is no different; the building itself is already covered in several new pieces, including a humongous wall by KVLR, Chris McGarry and Michael David Jones, and shutters by Anco and Emic.
As well as stocking streetwear brands like Supremebeing and DC, Apache has a massive stock of Kronk gear; the legendary boxing gym (the original of which was based in Detroit) is where the current World IBF and WBA Bantamweight champion, Ryan Burnett first pulled on a pair of gloves. Ryan even called in to the launch party for a few photos!
So next time you’re in the city centre, make sure to pop in to Apache to check out the huge selection of streetwear, and to gawp at the awesome art, both inside and outside of the shop.
